Brief: Create 8 different tarot cards along with the packaging for tarot festival in Taman Anggrek that allow kids to learn reading tarot cards. Tarot card is a type of playing card that relates with spiritual and often used to predict something. Traditionally there are 78 cards total of tarot cards. 78 cards divided into 56 Minor Arcana and 22 Major Arcana cards. Each of them symbolised spiritual lessons. 56 Minor Arcana cards consist of 4 suits that divided into 10 cards and 16 cards. The 4 suits consists of suit of wands, suit of cups, suit of pentacles and suit of swords.

Concept: For the cards design because the tarot festival is for kids, I decided to design the tarot cards using pixel art and Lion King as a theme. Lion King is an animated movie that is produced by Walt Disney Company with characters that are based on the animals. For the packaging I decided to design it using Simba’s face with pixel art to represents Lion King also to look more attractive. Both cards and packaging comes with colourful design to make kids interesting.
